Common issues and how to fix them.

Transaction Blocked

Error: "Transaction blocked: recipient not in address book"

  • Solution: Add the recipient address to your Address Book first
  • Go to app.kleidi.io → Address Book → Add Address

Error: "Transaction blocked: protocol not whitelisted"

  • Solution: You're trying to interact with an unknown smart contract
  • Check our approved protocols list. If this protocol is unlisted:
    • Ensure it's a legitimate protocol
    • Add it to your Address Book to whitelist
    • If you believe this protocol should be whitelisted, contact us at support@kleidi.io

Error: "No policies configured"

  • Solution: You haven't set any security rules yet
  • Go to your Kleidi dashboard → add address to your Address Book or configure which Protocols you want to whitelist

Phantom Wallet

Phantom does not currently allow custom RPC connections, so you cannot use Kleidi with Phantom at this time.

Connection Issues

Can't connect to Kleidi RPC

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Verify the RPC URL is correct (no typos)
  3. Check if Kleidi RPC is online at Kleidi Status

Wallet shows zero balance

  • This is normal when first switching to Kleidi RPC
  • Your funds are safe - just refresh or wait a moment
  • The balance will update once connected
  • Try switching networks and back if balance doesn't appear

"Request timeout" errors

  • Network congestion or high load
  • Try again in a few minutes
  • Consider increasing timeout in wallet settings
  • Switch to a different network temporarily

"Network congestion" delays

  • This indicates blockchain congestion, not Kleidi issues
  • Increase gas fees for faster processing
  • Wait for network traffic to decrease
  • Check network status on Etherscan or similar

Wallet Configuration

MetaMask says "Chain ID already exists"

  • You already have that network configured
  • Edit the existing network instead of adding new
  • Or remove the old one first

Transactions very slow

  • Kleidi adds minimal delay in broadcasting (< 300ms)
  • Check blockchain congestion on Etherscan
  • Ensure you're using appropriate gas fees

Account Issues

Can't sign in to Kleidi

  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try a different browser
  • Check if Clerk authentication is blocked
  • Make sure scripts are enabled in your browser
