Managing Your Address Book
Your Address Book is the list of wallet addresses you trust. Kleidi will only allow transactions to addresses in your book.
Adding Addresses
- Go to app.kleidi.io → Address Book
- Click "Add Address"
- Enter:
- Address: The wallet address (starts with 0x)
- Nickname: A name to remember this address
- Chain: Which network this address is for. If none are selected, this address will be available on all networks.
- Click "Add Address"
Common Addresses to Add
- Your other wallets - Hardware, hot, or cold wallets
- Exchange addresses - Coinbase, Binance, Kraken
- Friends & family - Anyone you regularly send to
- DeFi contracts - Will be auto-added when you use approved protocols
Important Notes
- Addresses are chain-specific (an Ethereum address is different from the same address on Base)
- Double-check addresses before adding them
- You can edit nicknames anytime
- Removing an address blocks all future transactions to it
Security Tips
- Never add an address someone sends you without first verifying it through a second communication channel
- Regularly review your Address Book for outdated or unused addresses
- Use descriptive nicknames like "My Ledger" or "Coinbase Deposit"
